Absinth Fairy

According to the legend, the Absinthe Fairy (also known as the green muse, nectre of the poets or the green fairy) hides within the very drink itself.
Once mixed with water the drink will change its appearance. This is known as the magical ritual of la louche, where the drink transforms from the concentrated, deep emerald green liquor into an opalescent, cloudy greenish-white mixture.
During this transformation she is magically released in a cloud of perfume to steal the talent of the brilliant and make geniuses of the mediocre.
Many famous artists, authors and poets have succumbed to her charms throughout history as she has seduced her way in to their psyche.
She represents artistic enlightenment and exploration, poetic inspiration, a freer state of mind and new ideas.
